The term “browser support” means that all websites designed and developed by Identify Web Design display correctly, are usable, and compliant to the best of our ability.

What does this mean to me?

Not all browsers and devices will render web pages in exactly the same way as one another, for instance fonts may differ slightly when comparing Internet Explorer to Google Chrome, but we will always ensure the work we provide to you will look as close to the signed off design as possible.

The information below lists off the browsers we currently support on the desktop versions of Windows and Mac OS. It also covers the browsers available on smartphones and tablets, as well as the OS versions we aim to support.

Please Note :

Although we offer limited support for other third party browsers, we cannot promise complete functionality for our sites, although this is something we are working on for the future.

Note : Safari support is currently for Mac OS, we do not support the Windows desktop version of Safari. We currently only offer limited support for Internet Explorer, this is due to Microsoft dropping Windows 7 and therefore is not the default browser on the Windows OS. Internet Explorer has not received a substantial update since 2015 and thus a lot of common web functionality is unsupported.

While most browsers will display websites universally the same across all releases, we cannot guarantee you will be able to update your browser to the latest version on some operating systems.

* – Denotes previous versions that we offer limited legacy support to. Although we will do our best in most instances to ensure these versions work correctly, due to the nature of how browsers and devices change and their limitations, while we can offer functionality in some instances there may be some aesthetic differences.

** – Denotes a browser or device we no longer offer support for, all previous versions are also unsupported.
